The Solidoodle Is Alive!

After a bit of down time I got the replacement extruder and a new fan and Im good to go.  Here it is printing some 3d models from the game StarCraft II.  Its looking strong enough to start printing BPM11 parts.

Dont know yet. I’ve done at least 50 prints of smaller parts so far and Im still not satisfied with the 3d model or the printing. I should have an update in a week. I will keep you in mind.

  2. i cant find the frames, ready to bend. all the frames i have built i have had to weld, not a big deal but the cost of the side plates alone from cobray makes me think there must be a cheeper way, are your frames made in house?

There is a gunbroker seller named 1-man-army that sells flats. I also have gotten some from copes distributing.

  3. sence i dont do this much are you able to see my email?

  4. Wow!!! I stumbled across this project looking for dimensions for the M11 to make in SolidWorks. This is way cool. I am very interested in this. I was also wondering where you got the side cocking upper with the long barrel? This project would get some amazing support on Uzitalk under the mac 10 section. I would consider posting some pictures up there.

The 16″ side cock upper if from Velocity Firearms. This project got derailed because the 3d printing is not quite hitting the mark for me. Large parts are come out warped and unusable. I may still try to make it but my dream of making it a purchasable kit seems unlikely.
